In my project I brought up the social issue of men who are sexually assaulted and unaccounted for or not listened to because our rape culture tells us women are the victims not men.

How I made it

I had the idea for this project when thinking about the inequality of women in general, I remembered the woman who duct-taped her mouth shut in the 1920s to teach girl about school.  I wanted to do a project based on people’s lack of voices.  Then I realized that I had many guy friends who suffer social injustices just because they are guys, as girl who surrounds herself with guys this touches my heart.  I tried taking a few pictures myself but none came out the way I liked them so I found a persons face on the internet and put a text box over it to make a “snapchat message.” My advice to everyone is do not just look at the social injustices of minority groups, because even though they get hit the worst, social injustice happens everywhere to everyone, we all have problems, and all of our problems need solving one step at time.
